Saint Mary's Abbey in Wrentham, Massachusetts, is the first monastery of Cistercian Nuns in the United States. The first sisters arrived in 1949 from St. Mary's Abbey in Glencairn. There are currently 48 sisters at Wrentham's St. Mary's.
