National Teen Driver Safety Week

This week, the week of 17-23 October, is being observed as the fifteenth annual National Teen Driver Safety Week (NTDSW). This observance is designed to encourage parents to discuss the importance of driving safety with their young drivers. According to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, this week is a perfect time to begin – and continue – this conversation, and to remind parents not to hand over the car keys until their teen knows the rules of the road.
