New Hampshire's Rhododendron State Park Offers Rare Form of Rhododendron

One of the natural treasures in New England, coming into bloom at this time, is a rare (in New England) form of rhododendron - Rhododendron maximum, also known as great laurel or rosebay. New Hampshire's Rhododendron State Park has a grove of these plants, a grove previously designated as a National Natural Landmark.
